FAH - Glowism
Tight, punchy electrobass riddims from FAH. Operating on the cusp of Rephlexian electro a la DMX Krew d Drexciyan aqua-funk, Fah cycles from the skating 808 patterns of 'Not Enough Fahzers' to the whirring syncopations and jazz chords of 'Casting The Rod' on the front, while paying tribute to James Stinson on the flipside's woozy 'Glowism' and the skewed, angular hyperfunk programming of 'Magnetic Freedom'.

Mikron - Sleep Paralysis
Laser-guided electro tackle from Aussie-based english siblings, Michael and Ciaran Corcoran for knife-and-forkville's CPU.
Dark, direct and hard-hitting in the right places, four tracks nod sagely to classics from Drexciya to The Hacker and The Advent between the icepick snares and spine-freezing synth surge of 'Earth Shrine' on the A-side and the lean, crispy funk of 'Dry Sense' and its brukken Part II.

214 - Fuel Cells
Slickly entrancing electro from Seattle via Miami and Sheffield; yielding the zigzagging night-flight of Overbridge and the freestyled chops of Fuel Cells, plus a sparse, booming lick of electro-funk in Greenbelt.
Detromental - Rewind (Rebuilt)
Originally released on white label, ‘Move’ was written by Dean Marriott (aka D.Ramirez) and Lloyd Douglas and recorded in Sheffield in 1990. Only a small run were pressed which is reflected today by their high price on discogs.
These rare white labels by Detromental became legendary in the Sheffield techno scene as CPU label boss Chris Smith recalls: “they sounded like they should have been on Warp”, comparing them to the likes of Forgemasters, LFO and Nightmares on Wax.

Silicon Scally - Walk Over
Preceded by a strong reputation for his armoury of electro tackle on some of the UK’s finest labels, Silicon Scally keeps it classically sharp-cut and melodic in the fluid dynamics of ‘Revelations,’ while allowing more wonk and dissonance in ‘Walk Over,’ which he also remixes under his own name to more brooding effect. Frenchman in Tokyo, Fleck E.S.C. lends reinforcements with a crisp recalibration of ‘Revelation’ with coiled snares and more subaquatic sound design.
