Delroy Edwards gained prominence with his 2012 debut EP 4 Club Use Only on the L.I.E.S. label, which showcased his raw, analog sound. In 2013, he founded his own label, L.A. Club Resource, to release his music and reissue rare underground tracks, particularly from the Chicago house and Memphis rap scenes. Edwards is also known for his Slowed Down Funk mixtape series, which pays homage to chopped-and-screwed hip-hop.
